Never thought I'd see the day but this Favre like era of Shaq has ended. Not that this move was this surprising but the 19th season vet 15-time All-Star, four-time champion and the 2000 NBA Most Valuable Player, has opted to leave basketball as his body just cant continue at the high level and approaching 40 yrs old. Boston fans know it best as they saw collapse of their normally dominant defense following the loss of the big man.
